2016 "Classical" Album of the Year Winner / SoloPiano.com Remastered 04.13.2020.

At the beginning of 2010, I decided to embark on a kind of experiment — creating a piano album through Facebook. Whenever I felt inspired by a musical idea, I would record it at the piano in my studio and immediately share it on my profile. Each piece was accompanied by its title, followed by comments from my “virtual” friends. Once all the material was completed, it was precisely those reactions and comments that helped me select the improvisations that resonated with listeners the most.

Over time, inspired by this ongoing interaction with people online, I also came up with the project’s title - a playful reflection of that shared experience: My Face Music Book.

Before the album’s official release, I shared the complete collection of improvisations on Facebook - and that’s when something truly beautiful happened. Photographer Saša Četković, who until then had been only a “virtual friend,” listened to the entire album and, guided purely by inspiration, sent me a selection of his original photographs. He titled each photograph after the individual musical pieces. All of these photographs are now included in this release, along with the music video “My Piano,” for which I served as both writer and director.

Along with this CD, you also receive the complete sheet music edition containing all of the improvisations - with the exception of the bonus track, “In the sea - the sound / U moru šum ” I chose to close the project with this piece, as it is also an improvisation, recorded back in 1975 when I was just six years old - bringing the entire concept full circle.
